We pull the shots tight. Eiland on the bar most days. Liaise when we are running their roast. Two shots into a cold cup, eight ounces of milk, ice last so the espresso does not bloom.
Most folks order this 16oz. About nine in ten, actually. We make it the same way at either size — same shot count, same ratio, same pour. The drink does not change because the cup got bigger.
It is, as far as we are concerned, a workhorse. Cold-pull discipline. No shortcuts. No cream on top, unless you ask. Whole milk is the default. Oat is fifty cents. We are going to make you a good one.
Roast
Eiland Coffee Roasters or Liaise Coffees, depending on the bar that day. Both Richardson-roasted, both small-batch.
Build
Two shots espresso. 8oz cold milk (12oz cup) or 12oz cold milk (16oz cup). Ice last.
Cup
12oz or 16oz. Default whole milk. Glass when you sit; to-go cup when you are walking out.
