We opened at 920 Custer this morning. Soft launch. Coffee and goods only — the kitchen is still finding its feet, so no food yet.
The machine is warm. Clay roasted coffee this week. Liaise sent their flagship on Monday. The hangout space is open. The bathrooms work. Come sit. Come read. Come bring a laptop.
You will see things still settling. A shelf that needs to move. A turntable that is not quite hooked up. A menu card with one too many words. The second-cup rhythm still finding itself. That is what week one looks like.
Come anyway. Stay for the second cup.

The hangout. Records, a working turntable, a buck that has seen worse.
What is on the bar
Espresso pulled tight on Eiland's beans, roasted six minutes from the shop. Cortados that already outsell the lattes. Matcha latte, London Fog, turmeric gold. Drip, long black, cold brew steeped sixteen hours.

The counter. Stickers are $2. Take one, leave a friend.
What is on the shelves
Mugs. Handmade goods. Desert prints. Things made by hand, rotating weekly. Browse at your own pace.

The shelves. Paper-wrapped, small batches, rotating weekly.

Tees, hats, zines. The gas-pump globe predates the shop by fifty years.
What is not, yet
No food. The kitchen comes next. No frappuccino analogs — not a menu we are building. No pumps you can see. The syrup is house-made, measured by ear. Oat milk is not the default. Whole milk is the default. Oat is fifty cents.

The bathroom. A small love letter to vintage signage.
Pitch in
If you see a stack of dishes that needs washing, the turntable that needs a hand, or a chair that needs straightening — pitch in. This is that kind of room.
Tell us what we missed. Slow drink. Ticket the register ate. Tell us. Not because we are fragile — because this is how a shop gets better.
Tuesday through Saturday, seven to three. Sunday eight to two. Come say hello.
